Make-up Through the Ages
Thousands of years ago, ancient Egyptians discovered the use of plants and minerals for beauty treatments. The practice of wearing make-up continued on until the Victorian era, when the wearing of make-up was then considered improper. It was only in the middle of the 20th century that cosmetics have redeemed their value and have become socially accepted worldwide.
