If you want a tinier or slimmer face, using make up the right way can do that for you. Brush up on the apple of your cheeks a lighter, pink blush. It should blend outwards towards your cheekbones. After this, try to pout or suck up your lips like a fish and you will discover the hollows of your cheeks. You can bring out them out with either a matte bronzing powder or taupe blush. To top it all of, blend everything by using a large make up brush. In an instant, your face looked slimmer with just simple make up application

Sometimes matching colors is not as difficult as it seems. When it comes to make-up, the rule is quite simple. No matter what color of clothes you are wearing, always try to match the colors of your make-up with your skin tone and the occasion. If you are a bit confused, settle for colors in neutral shades such as soft pink, peach, and brown as they will complement most skin colors while giving off a natural look. Also remember that light make-up should be worn during the day heavy and more dramatic colors in the evening.

The perfect way of handling blush-ons is to make sure it looks natural on the skin. Instead of adding garish red spots on your cheeks, why not opt for colors that would suggest a warm glow to your skin? Blush is like foundation, it is meant as base make-up so apply it before you do your eye make-up and your lipstick. Apply make-up in a well-lit room so you will be able to see how much blush you are putting on. But to be on the safe side, about three to four brush strokes per cheek ought to do it.

Having a dark complexion is no reason to stop you from experimenting with colors. But if you really want to go for a more natural yet classy look, warm and earthy colors such as gold, bronze and maroon are the right tones for you.

Matte-finished lipsticks in medium shades are a better choice than frosted ones. If you have dark lips, put foundation or powder first before applying color. It not only makes your lips lighter, it also makes the lipstick stay longer!

For blush-ons, try hues of peach as they complement dusky complexion better by giving it warm glow.

To curl up eye lashes and put on some mascara is one way to brighten up a pretty girl’s face, but applying fake lashes can make a statement. Here’s a way on how to put on thos false eye lashes.

First off, measure the false lashes. Place it against your upper lash and cut off the excess. After this, curl up your lashes and apply your mascara of your choice to prevent your real fringe from sagging.

Next, apply some lash glue on a cotton swab and put some on the base of the false lashes. Put it on as close as possible on the roots of your lashes and press it into place with the use of the flat end of your tweezers.

Finally, apply some black liquid eye liner to hide the band for a more natural look. Optional: apply extra coat of mascara to fuse lashes.

When applying mascara, it is best to double coat the layers to make an illusion of thicker lashes. First apply the coating on the upper lid of the lashes then apply another one below it. Do the same procedure twice. There are mascaras which like the Revlon 3D Mascara promises to lengthen your eye lashes up to as long as 25% and thickens up to seven fold while curling it. . The Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara is available in three colors and water proof. The best thing about the mascara is that it doesn’t smudge or stain plus the fact that it has a unique system that separates each eyelash strands, so you don’t have to use a needle on your lashes anymore just to prevent them from clamping against each other. It is also important to keep in mind that mascaras dry easily so be sure not to keep it out in the open without the seal.

Have you ever experienced getting out of the house like a celebrity but ending up tired-looking at the end of the day? Easy, give yourself a beauty boost. First, wipe off all of your lipstick. Next, blot excess oil off your face with tissue or face-blotting paper. Smoothen your foundation. Brush on blush. If any blemish show, dab a little concealer and blend. Dust a thin layer of pressed powder on your face before applying the blush. Use powder eye shadow instead of pencil when lining your eyes. Even out eyeshadow by blotting with tissue before applying more with a brush. Finally, reapply your lipstick.

If you think you can save money by using old cosmetic products, think again. Instead of fattening the check book, you might end up giving up more money for skin treatments. So when do you know if you need to say goodbye to your beauty buddies? Simple. Powder-based products should last from two to three years. Face products are okay from one to two years. Eye cosmetics live the shortest only about four to six months. If moist products such as mascara become dry, discard. If youre using organic or natural cosmetics, ask about the shelf-life. They store for a much shorter time than their counter parts.

It is very normal for your eye lashes, like the hair on top of your head, to shed. It re-grows anyway. But if you start to see your vacant spots on your lash line, then there is indeed a little cause for worry.

Avoid wiping harshly at the eyes when cleaning eye make-up. Gently wipe the eye area with a cotton pad or soft tissue. If you use a particular make-up remover, then perhaps you may reconsider trying other brands or other methods of make-up removal.

Do not overuse mascara and the eyelash curler. Dramatic lashes are one thing but bald ones are another.

If these dont work, change your eye make-up brands. If this doesnt work either, its time to go to the doctor. Losing your lashes may be a sign of a medical condition rather than your skins chemical reaction to make-up.

Want those classic smoky eyes? First, apply foundation then set the skin with loose powder. Using your finger, pat concealer on the darker spots under your eyes. Line the top and bottom rims of your eyes with black eye pencil. Soften with a small eye shadow brush. Using a sponge-tip applicator, apply black powder eye shadow directly over the pencil. Smudge gently. Encircle your entire eye with brown eye shadow. Apply using an eye shadow brush. Color should be darker nearer the eyes and lighter farther the eyes. Curl lashes and apply mascara. Finally, apply the rest of your make-up.
